How to Stop Spam Comments
On Your Myspace Profile

Myspace Spam Comment

Spam comments have been a big annoyance for quite a while on Myspace. Lately there has been a rash of spam comments that include code which makes them seem impossible to delete.

Have you seen the big red comments that say "Hey, I can see who looks at my profile!" or this one that says "Now you can see everyone who looks at your MySpace page!" Or this one that says "Click here to start tracking your profile visitors!"

It's an embedded comment that erases the delete feature from the link. In fact clicking on delete just takes you to the spammers website, adding insult to injury.

Here's how to get rid of those spam comments and block the users who keep sending them.

First thing you'll want to do is remove the offending spammer from your friends list. If you've got a large friend list this can be a big time waster just sorting through all your friends to delete the bad guy.

In this case you'll want to just click on the offenders profile and block him from contacting you again. to block a user visit his profile and then look below his picture. There you'll find a rectangle that says the following "Mail, Add, IM, Group, Forward, Favorites, Block and Rank."

You'll want to select "Block" and stop the spammer from continuing to post to your profile.

Then click on "Block this User" to stop any future attempts to spam your profile by this person. Anyone you add to your blocked list can be managed at a later time.
